Job summary

Stafffinders is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for a permanent, full-time role based in a boutique hotel in Stirling. You will support the day-to-day running of the restaurant, lead front-of-house teams, and drive guest satisfaction while developing your leadership skills as the business grows.

The role offers a salary of £28,000–£32,000 per annum, plus tips, pension access, employee discounts and clear opportunities for progression within an ambitious, independent hospitality business.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant, hotel or quality-focused hospitality environment.
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house service across all meal periods.
• Conduct pre-service briefings and allocate sections.
• Maintain high hospitality standards and guest relationships.
• Collaborate with kitchen for smooth service flow.
• Train, develop and onboard front-of-house staff.
• Manage reservations, guest flow and daily opening/closing procedures.
• Make confident food, wine and beverage recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure allergen procedures, licensing, food safety and safety standards.
• Suggest ideas to improve service and restaurant performance.
