Job summary

The Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for a full-time, 40-hour week at The Marriott Worsley Park Hotel and Country Club (M28 2QT).

You will supervise daily restaurant operations, lead and mentor the team, handle guest enquiries and maintain high service standards in line with company policies and licensing laws. You will support the Restaurant Manager in achieving targets and ensuring food quality and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Leading, motivating and supporting the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Handling guest enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Training, coaching and developing associates to maintain high service standards.
• Monitoring associate performance and providing regular feedback and guidance.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
• Supporting the Restaurant Manager in achieving departmental targets and financial objectives.
• Communicating effectively with the kitchen and management teams to maintain food quality and service standards.
• Overseeing restaurant opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and banking.
• Ensuring associates have the necessary equipment, supplies and uniforms.
• Leading by example and promoting a positive, supportive and professional working environment.
• Assisting with restaurant service and other operational duties as required.
