Searcys is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure quality and consistency, delivering flawless service and exceptional food and drinks.

You will mentor and guide junior team members, coaching on the job and fostering a positive work environment.

Job Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Senior Managers, Kitchen, and Restaurant team to plan and deliver seamless service
• Build positive relationships and communication channels with key departments
• Brief the restaurant team and oversee service operations
• Manage opening and closing procedures
• Lead supervisors, waiters, and colleagues
• Implement staff induction and mandatory training within the first three months, and monitor staff performance during probation
• Monitor departmental standards, ensure excellent guest service, and address concerns with the General Manager
• Ensure staff present themselves professionally and are well-groomed on duty
• Minimum 2-3 years of people management experience
• Prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
• Maintain meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Adapt to challenges with a solution-oriented approach
• Exhibit strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills
• Be creative, positive, self-directed, amiable, and composed under pressure
