THE PIG-at Combe in Honiton seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to create a lively, family‑oriented atmosphere and to drive daily restaurant operations. You will supervise the team, ensure top guest experiences, and take the lead on food and beverage service when the Restaurant Manager is absent.

The role requires prior experience in a similar setting and exposure to fast‑paced service. We offer a supportive workplace with opportunities for growth within THE PIG and a range of staff perks.

Location: THE PIG-at Combe, Honiton, EX14 3AD

Salary: £26,390 per annum (OTE £30,230 per annum including tronc).

Hours: 35 hours per week over 5 days

The Restaurant is the beating heart of THE PIG.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will create an exciting work atmosphere with a culture focused on family, fun and community. You will be responsible for ‘Bringing it together’ by helping to lead and drive the daily operations within the restaurant.

Our Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the Restaurant Manager by supervising the performance of the team and ensuring every guest has a positive experience with us.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will lead the food and beverage service in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Therefore, good communication and people management skills are a must. You will need to be confident, yet at ease working in an attention to detail environment whilst maintaining an informal and accessible approach to all.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and exposure to a busy restaurant service.
