The PIG Hotel is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in Combe Raleigh. You will assist in running daily restaurant operations, lead the service team, and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience.

You will work in a lively, guest-focused environment with a culture of family, fun and community. With a 35-hour week across five days, the role offers a structured yet dynamic atmosphere, opportunities for growth, and benefits aligned with THE PIG values.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Exposure to busy restaurant service.
• Good communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations within the restaurant.
• Supervise the restaurant team and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Lead food and beverage service in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.

Job description

Location: THE PIG-at Combe, Honiton, EX14 3AD
Salary: £26,390 per annum (OTE £30,230 per annum including tronc)
Hours: 35 hours per week over 5 days
The Restaurant is the beating heart of THE PIG.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will create an exciting work atmosphere with a culture focused on family, fun and community. You will be responsible for ‘Bringing it together’ by helping to lead and drive the daily operations within the restaurant.
Our Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the Restaurant Manager by supervising the performance of the team and ensuring every guest has a positive experience with us.
As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will lead the food and beverage service in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Therefore, good communication and people management skills are a must. You will need to be confident, yet at ease working in an attention to detail environment whilst maintaining an informal and accessible approach to all.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and exposure to a busy restaurant service.
