Job summary

Chilled is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead by example, maintain high standards, and nurture talent on busy shifts. You will energise the team, uphold guest experiences, and contribute to a positive, respectful floor culture.

You’ll coach staff through real-time feedback, handle conflicts calmly, and adapt your leadership style to different people and situations, driving consistent service and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership in high-energy service environments.
• Proven ability to coach and develop staff through briefings and feedback.
• Focus on guest experience, standards, and delivering great service.

Responsibilities

• Be visible on the floor during service and set the tone for the team.
• Support managers and develop the team, especially on busy shifts.
• Coach team members through briefings, 1:1s, and real-time feedback.
• Handle conflicts calmly and directly, not avoiding issues.
• Motivate and challenge staff to maintain high standards and performance.
• Ensure consistent service and food quality during peak periods.
