The PIG Hotel is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager at THE PIG-at Combe, Honiton. The role focuses on creating an exciting work atmosphere with a family, fun, and community culture, and on guiding daily restaurant operations to deliver memorable guest experiences.

You will support the Restaurant Manager by supervising staff, maintaining attention to detail, and communicating effectively with the team to ensure smooth service and consistency during busy periods.

Competenze

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a busy restaurant service.
• Strong communication and people management skills.

• Lead and drive the daily operations within the restaurant.

Location: THE PIG-at Combe, Honiton, EX14 3AD

Salary: £26,390 per annum (OTE £30,230 per annum including tronc).

Hours: 35 hours per week over 5 days

The Restaurant is the beating heart of THE PIG.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will create an exciting work atmosphere with a culture focused on family, fun and community. You will be responsible for 'Bringing it together' by helping to lead and drive the daily operations within the restaurant.

Our Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the Restaurant Manager by supervising the performance of the team and ensuring every guest has a positive experience with us.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will lead the food and beverage service in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Therefore, good communication and people management skills are a must. You will need to be confident, yet at ease working in an attention to detail environment whilst maintaining an informal and accessible approach to all.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and exposure to a busy restaurant service.
