Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the Role

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will assist in leading and managing the F&B department, including staffing and ensuring guest satisfaction while operating within budget to turn over a profit. You will focus on enhancing the customer dining experience and contribute innovative ideas to elevate our offerings.

Responsibilities include:

1. Manage daily operations of all restaurants and bars, including staffing, inventory, and service standards as directed by your Line Manager.
2. Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising a skilled team of restaurant and bar staff.
3. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to ensure high service standards across the F&B departments and the hotel.
4. Collaborate with the Executive Head Chef and bartenders to develop innovative and appealing menus.
5. Contribute to achieving budget and financial forecasts for the F&B department.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant or F&B Manager in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of current food and beverage trends, standards, and regulations.
• Cellar management skills, maintaining hotel standards.
• Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
