The Role

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will assist in leading and managing the F&B department, including the team, and ensure that we exceed guest expectations while operating within the budget, turning over a profit in your department. You’ll be focused on the customer dining experience and full of new ideas to elevate our offering.

Responsibilities Include

• Manage the day-to-day operations of all restaurants and bars, including staffing, inventory management, and service standards, as set out by your Line Manager.
• Assist your Line Manager with recruiting, training, and supervising a skilled team of restaurant and bar staff.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to ensure a high level of service within the F&B departments and across the hotel.
• Collaborate with the Executive Head Chef and bartenders to create innovative and appealing menus.
• Ensure the delivery of budgets and financial forecasts for the F&B department.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, F&B Manager, or similar role in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, standards, and regulations.
• Cellar management skills to maintain hotel standards.
• Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
