Job summary

Franco Manca Bath is seeking an Assistant Manager to be the right-hand to the Restaurant Manager, helping lead the team and keep service running like clockwork while delivering memorable guest experiences.

You’ll coach and develop the team, manage shifts, monitor stock and staff rotas, and uphold quality across every pizza leaving the kitchen. The role includes an attractive salary, quarterly bonuses, staff discounts, and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or restaurant management or supervision.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver guest-centric service.
• Ability to motivate staff and maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Be the right-hand to the Restaurant Manager and help steer the team.
• Lead the restaurant on shift to deliver outstanding service and ensure every dish meets quality standards.
• Inspire, coach, and develop the team to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage busy shifts, handle guest feedback, and ensure smooth operations behind the scenes.
• Monitor stock levels and staff schedules to keep things balanced.
• Step in for the Manager when away to maintain Franco Manca standards.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

• We're looking for someone with energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for pizza.
• You’ll have Management or Supervisory experience in Hospitality or restaurants, with a knack for creating a brilliant guest experience.
• Be a natural leader, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team - even on the busiest days.
