Job summary

Currys in London is seeking an Assistant Category Merchandiser for the Refrigeration range on a 6 months fixed-term contract, with hybrid working between home and Currys Waterloo Campus. The role focuses on supporting sales, margin, stock, and availability targets while collaborating with Merchandising, Buying, Distribution, Planning and supplier partners.

You will analyse performance, manage stock and POs, provide commercial insight, build supplier relationships, and ensure policy and process

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with data interpretation.
• Experience using merchandising and planning systems.
• Confident communicator able to influence across teams.
• Commercially aware with customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support category performance to drive sales and margins.
• Manage stock and supplier performance; execute purchase orders and deliveries.
• Provide commercial and operational insight; resolve stock issues.
• Develop supplier relationships to ensure stock availability and minimal disruption.
