Very Group is hiring a Category Assistant in our Electrical department for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Liverpool. You’ll lead end-to-end product setup, create forecasts and order requirements, and manage stock through critical path progression to support availability and efficiency.
You’ll also apply pricing tools, explore new suppliers or brands, and produce ad-hoc reports for the wider category. Strong Excel skills and retail experience are essential.

By integrating category management with our digital experience and marketing teams, we are able to gain deeper insights into our customers' needs. This collaborative approach empowers us to make swifter, better-informed decisions, ensuring we provide the best possible offering in the space. You'll have the chance to engage directly with some of the world's biggest brands, working alongside trading, marketing, and customer experience teams within our wider Retail group.
Your experience may stem from buying, merchandising, stock planning or a related field.
