Job description

Job Title: Assistant Recruitment Consultant

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £24,000-£26,000pa Basic depending on experience
(After probation: Increase to £27,300pa, Commission Share [circa £3-5k pa] + Travelcard zones 1-6)

Based: Oxford Circus, London W1W & option to work remotely 2 days per week

Responsible to: Senior Recruitment Manager

Hours: Monday- Friday: 9am - 5.30pm

Summary

PMR are a specialist property recruitment company, based in Oxford Circus. Our on-site staffing team are undergoing continued growth and are looking to appoint a further member of staff to join our successful team. We supply some of the UK's largest property management companies with staff to manage their sites across the UK.

Working alongside one of the Senior Recruitment Managers, you will assist them in a wide range of duties, these will include:

Candidates:
  1. Calling candidates to schedule interviews
  2. Registering candidates
  3. Creating candidate profiles on database
  4. Sending confirmation emails of work
  5. Sending confirmation emails of interviews
Administration:
  1. Data entry
  2. Checking Right to Work documentation
Clients:
  1. Keeping client information updated, adding and deleting contacts
  2. Building a rapport with clients
  3. Client visits
Adhoc:
  1. To learn about the property management industry
  2. Keep up to date with industry news
  3. To be aware of and know how to use social media
After Probation:

After 6 months in the role, all assistants/consultants join our out of hours on-call rota. This entails taking it in turns to spend 1 week covering our out of hour calls and requests. We provide our clients with a 24 hour line, so that they can always call us to request emergency cover, even when the office is closed.

Currently, the hours covered are Monday - Sunday: 5.30pm - 11.30pm. At the moment, the team goes on 1 in every 14 weeks.

Future of the role:

You will receive in-house training in order to allow you to progress into working as a recruitment consultant. We are very positive that this role should attract ambitious candidates looking to move up to work as recruiters themselves.

You will need to be literate and numerate to a good standard, and some previous experience in a sales-oriented environment would be useful. More important are ambition, aptitude and the willingness to work hard.
