Job summary
United Infrastructure is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of water infrastructure projects. The role involves assisting in cost control, contract administration, and financial reporting while gaining exposure to all aspects of project commercial delivery in the utilities sector. Candidates should have some experience in a commercial or construction environment, a basic understanding of quantity surveying principles, and be working towards a relevant degree. Qualifications
Basic understanding of NEC contracts is desirable.
Eager to learn and develop within a commercial role.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of applications for payment and supporting documentation.
Support cost capture, allocation, and tracking across multiple projects.
Help manage subcontractor accounts, including valuations and payments.
Skills
Experience in construction or utilities
Understanding of quantity surveying principles
Strong numerical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Good communication skills
Education
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
