Job summary

Croudace Homes is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support commercial delivery of residential developments from procurement through final account. You will work with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to monitor costs and cash flow.

The role focuses on procurement, payments and day-to-day project management. A background in construction and strong numerical skills are valued for delivering value and quality housing.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years relevant work experience preferred, but recent graduates could perform the role.
• Excellent numerical skills and an understanding of financial management.
• Able to use Microsoft packages and familiarity with MS Excel.
• Analytical mind and methodical approach.
• Good construction knowledge.
• Experience of Coins desirable, but not essential.
• Ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project progress, manage costs and support the smooth financial running of each development.
• Assist with preparation of commercial reports and identify risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to achieving project profit and cashflow objectives.
