Job summary

Navartis Ltd is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a regional role with a UK housebuilder. You will support the regional commercial team, help implement budgets and reporting, and assist in controlling development and build expenditure.

This development role offers learning opportunities, with experienced colleagues in the team and exposure to start programmes, subcontractor relations, and site visits across current and potential developments.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of the role of Quantity Surveying.
• Awareness of financial implications of build methods and sequences.
• Knowledge of commercial management systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial management and reporting.
• Assist the commercial team, following Group policies and processes.
• Help manage relationships with subcontractors, housing associations and external partners.
• Help determine and agree site start programmes, and assist with commercial matters on new and existing developments.
• Take part in site visits to current, new and potential sites.
