Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd in Ringwood, Hampshire, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for an office-based role with site visits across the South. Salary £35,000 - £38,000 with progression, training and a gym membership plus travel.

You will support the commercial team with procurement, measurements and valuations, gradually taking responsibility for smaller projects as your experience grows, while working with experienced QSs and Directors.

Qualifications

• Experience in assistant quantity surveying within construction projects.
• Exposure to measurements, take-offs or subcontractor packages.
• HNC or degree in a relevant field or equivalent construction experience.
• Hardworking and eager to learn with a view to progression.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Quantity Surveyors with procurement, subcontractor packages, valuations and measurements
• Working across live construction projects with regular site visits
• Gradually taking ownership of smaller projects as your experience develops
• Working closely with QSs, Contracts Managers, site teams and Directors
