AFECO, part of the United Infrastructure Group, invites applications for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team on engineering projects across the UK. This role offers hands-on experience, progression toward professional accreditation, and exposure to cost control, valuations, and tendering processes.

You will support the commercial and finance teams, assist with interim valuations, procurement, and cost reporting, and develop commercial skills toward AssocRICS/MRICS while

Qualificações

• Working towards or holding a degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• NEC3/4 experience desirable.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support commercial and finance teams in project commercial management.
• Assist with interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reporting.
• Support procurement: issue enquiries, analyse quotes, prepare subcontract orders.
• Measure, price, and value variations per contract.
• Maintain cost records and monitor budgets and forecasts.
• Attend site meetings for valuations and reporting.
• Assist with tender documents and bills of quantities.
• Ensure compliance with policies and industry standards.
