Job summary

Smart 4 EPC is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to help drive project success. You will report to the QS team and support commercial activities, manage costs, and help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively on site.

The role suits candidates working towards RICS/CIOB/ICES or with a related degree, with onsite measurement experience and good communication under pressure.

Qualifications

• Working towards an accredited RICS, CIOB or ICES course, or holding a degree or HND in a relevant subject (building/construction, civil or structural engineering, urban and land studies).
• Experience working in build, including onsite measures.
• Knowledge of construction management and sustainable construction techniques.
• Strong communicator who works well under pressure and uses initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial activities and cost management for projects.
• Help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
• Report to the Quantity Surveyor, Project Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
