ARC Group in Norwich is recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to join its civil engineering team on a permanent basis. You will support the commercial and contractual management of projects, monitor costs and prepare payment applications to drive profitability.

Working with an experienced commercial team, you will manage variations, subcontractor payments and reporting, while developing client and supply chain relationships across East Anglia.

Qualificações

• Experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor role within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of commercial management, cost control and contractual administration.
• Experience with valuations, applications for payment, variations and subcontractor management.
• Excellent numeracy and organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with commercial and contractual management of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasts with accurate reporting.
• Prepare and submit applications for payment, valuations and related documents.
• Manage variations and change control in line with contracts.
• Assist with monthly cost/value reports, forecasts and cash flow information.
• Procure and manage subcontract packages, prepare subcontract orders and payment assessments.
• Review subcontractor valuations and payments for accuracy.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities to protect project profitability.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve commercial issues.
• Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure notices and commercial records are timely and accurate.
• Support tendering, procurement and work-winning activities.
