Job summary

ARC (Norwich) Ltd is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in Norwich on a permanent basis. You will work on civil engineering and infrastructure projects across East Anglia, supporting profitability and project delivery.

You will be part of a collaborative team, taking ownership of commercial activities, and building strong client and supply chain relationships.

Qualifications

Experience in civil engineering/infrastructure environment helpful.
Strong numeracy, cost control and contractual administration.
Experience with valuations and payments, variations and subcontractor management.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Assist with commercial and contractual management of civil/infrastructure projects.
Monitor costs, budgets and forecasts; report as required.
Prepare payments, valuations and related documentation.
Manage variations, change control and compensation events.
Prepare monthly cost/value reports and cash flow information.
Procure and manage subcontract packages and payment assessments.
Review subcontractor applications and ensure correct payments.
Identify commercial risks and opportunities to protect profitability.
Collaborate with project teams to monitor progress and resolve issues.
