Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support commercial activities, manage costs, and help deliver projects efficiently. Reporting to the Quantity Surveyor, Project Surveyor, or Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will contribute to cost control and commercial success across civil, infrastructure and building works.

This role values accreditation (RICS/CIOB/ICES) or a degree with numerical/technical focus, plus onsite experience and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Accredited by RICS/CIOB/ICES or equivalent.
• Degree with numerical/technical emphasis is advantageous.
• Experience in Build and on-site measurement
• Knowledge of construction management and sustainable techniques
• Good communication and ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrated initiative in project environments

Responsibilities

• Support commercial activities and manage project costs.
• Report to and collaborate with Senior/Project Surveyor and QS team.
• Assist in delivering projects efficiently and effectively.

Skills

RICS/CIOB/ICES accreditation

Relevant degree in building/constr

Onsite experience
