Job summary

A growing Housing Developer is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their new regional office. The role includes preparing contract documents, managing budgets, and providing support on-site. The ideal candidate has a valid Driving Licence and experience in housing projects, with strong numerical skills and construction knowledge. Qualifications

  • A valid Driving Licence is required.
  • Previous experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in housing projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing tender and contract documents.
  • Conduct cost analysis and prepare cost reports.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets.
  • Assist in negotiating and managing subcontractor contracts.
  • Prepare and submit valuations and applications for payment.
  • Provide support in resolving contractual and commercial issues.
  • Assist in final account preparation.

Location: East Midlands, Derbyshire, Castle Donington

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Monday to Friday. FLEXIBLE WORKING FROM HOME

Primary Industry: Construction - New build housing / House Building

Salary: £35000 - £50000 Per annum

Required Qualifications:

COINS experience is desired
