Job summary

Sphere Solutions are recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support a Senior QS on a major residential development in Plymouth. The role offers an immediate start and a temporary-to-permanent pathway for the right candidate, focusing on building commercial experience and progressing within the team.

The successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to cost control, valuations and subcontractor management while developing skills across infrastructure, groundworks and other commercial

• Proactive approach with good communication and organisational skills.

Sphere Solutions are working with an established construction business to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support a Senior QS on a large residential development in Plymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Junior QS looking to develop their commercial experience, gain exposure to a major housing scheme and progress their career within an established business.

Initially offered on a temporary basis for the first month, the intention is to move to a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

• Supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with the commercial management of a large-scale residential development.
• Assisting with the management of infrastructure and groundworks packages.
• Supporting cost control, valuations and subcontractor management.
• Gaining hands-on experience across a range of commercial activities.
