Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Clifton in Beeston is seeking an academically strong candidate to support and enhance psychological care. The role involves assisting the Qualified Psychologist with assessments, formulations and delivering individual or group programmes.

The post is part-time (16 hours weekly) between 09:00-17:00, with CPD opportunities and a supportive multi-disciplinary team. Salary details are outlined by the employer in the benefits section.

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent.
• BPS Accredited.
• Preferably experienced in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role.
• Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Qualified to Master's degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable).

Job description

This role will be part time, 16 hours (two days per week) between Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00. Cygnet Hospital Clifton is a 25 bed specialist low secure service for men with personality related difficulties, who also present with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours. The hospital is set out across two wards; Ancaria Ward is the admissions/ initial treatment ward, which offers a defined pathway through to Acorn Ward, which has a focus on rehabilitation, in preparation for moving on into the community or supported living. Your Day-to-Day… We are seeking an academically strong candidate to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by assisting the Qualified Psychologist with:
