Job summary

Sheffield Young Carers is seeking an Assistant Project Worker for a permanent, full-time role (part-time negotiable). Salary is £24,479 for 35 hours per week, with pro rata £19,583.20 for 28 hours.

The package includes a 5% employer pension and 3% employee contribution, 25 days holiday (20 days for 28 hours) and additional benefits including supervision and carers leave. Hours include regular evening work, up to 3 evenings weekly, with occasional weekends and residential work.

Assistant Project Worker - Full time (part time negotiable)

Contract: Permanent contract (subject to funding)

Hours: 35 hours per week (28 hours per week if part time) - Includes regular evening work, up to 3 evenings per week, and occasional weekend and residential work (with notice and time off in lieu)

Salary: £24,479 Full time (pro rata to 28 hours equals £19,583.20)

Pension: 5% employer contribution and 3% employee contribution

Holiday: 25 days holiday a year full time, or 20 days for 28 hours per week, plus bank holidays

Additional benefits:

• Access to external supervision as well as line management supervision
• Up to five days paid carers/dependents leave per year.
