Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is recruiting two Assistant Project Managers to support Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects from County Hall, Leicester. The role is a two-year fixed term, with a salary of £36,621 to £40,458 per annum, pro-rata for part-time, and a 37-hour week on-site in Leicester.

You will assist in governance, reporting, financial monitoring and risk management to ensure schemes are delivered on time, to quality and cost, collaborating with stakeholders to maximise value

Qualifications

• BTEC in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in highway engineering design, management, maintenance or related processes.
• Experience working with internal/external stakeholders including statutory bodies and communities.
• Ability to work to tight timescales and deliver projects on time, quality and cost.
• Understanding of Prince2 project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist on the project management of EV infrastructure projects and programmes, including governance and reporting.
• Monitor project finances and budgets to ensure value for money.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks to deliver on time, within quality and cost.
• Develop and maintain effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
