Enthusiastic Assistant Project Manager in the Construction Industry

What we need
  1. Construction related qualification i.e. HNC/HND or Trade related qualification.
  2. Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS or SSSTS).
  3. GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above in English Language, Literacy and Numeracy.
  4. Proven and recent experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Supervisor within a construction environment.
  5. Exceptional leadership skills.
  6. Competent in the use of a range of IT packages.
  7. Proficient in Health & Safety legislation and compliance.
  8. Self-motivated and proactive.
  9. Positive attitude and the ability to integrate and be an active part of the team.
  10. Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.
  11. Willingness to undertake training programmes as deemed necessary by the Company.
  12. Keen to pursue personal development needs and maintain up to date knowledge.
  13. You must hold a full current UK driving licence and have had 6 months driving experience since passing your test.
  14. Due to the nature of our works, the Company requires all employees to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This will include a check against the Children’s and Adults’ Barred List. Given that client vetting requirements vary and change, you may be required to undergo a variety of vetting checks for our clients during your employment and this may result in further checks at intervals determined by the Company and in accordance with applicable regulations.

This is a full time position and hours of work will be 42 hours per week. This will also involve daily travel and working away as deemed necessary for the needs of the business.

Working hours: 07:45hrs to 17:15hrs Monday to Thursday, 07:45hrs to 16:45hrs Friday.
