Job summary

HS2 Ltd is seeking an Assistant Project Controls Manager to support the development and maintenance of an integrated baseline across scope, time, cost, risk and quality. You will analyse performance, highlight trends and support decision making within the HS2 Programme.

The role involves coordinating project controls activities, reviewing supply chain submissions, managing risks, and supporting governance, reporting cycles and continuous improvement in Project Controls practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and develop relationships with effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to solve problems by reviewing information to develop options and solutions.
• Data analysis and reporting to provide insights and trends.
• Presentation skills to present at project level and support workshops.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of an integrated baseline across scope, time, cost, risk and quality.
• Coordinate project controls activities within supply chain, projects or contracts.
• Analyse data and reports to provide insights and risks for decision making.
• Support correlation of schedule, cost, quality and risk to drive programme delivery and cost data management.
• Review supply chain programme submissions and update client schedules.
• Identify and manage risks leveraging SME advice to respond to delays and challenges.
• Support change management to assess and manage impacts to the baseline.
• Support period reporting cycle and share lessons and best practices within Project Controls.
• Ensure compliance with PMO and Project Controls policies and standards; promote Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
