Job summary

Rubicon People Partnership in Poole is seeking an Assistant Production Manager with hands-on leadership experience in electronics manufacturing. This role offers a defined progression path toward Production Manager and responsibility for a small but growing team of operatives and three Team Leaders as you develop into the position.

You will plan, schedule and monitor daily production to hit delivery and quality targets, coordinate with procurement, stores and other production teams to keep

• Hands-on leadership in electronics manufacturing.
• Ready to step up into Assistant Production Manager.
• Strong reading of technical/engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor daily production to hit targets and quality standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, stores and production teams to maintain materials flow and workflow.
• Identify bottlenecks and reallocate resources to protect output.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of operatives and Team Leaders; provide regular feedback.
• Promote health and safety standards, conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks.
• Report daily and weekly production updates to senior management.
