Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a team within electronics manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings involving electronic components.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Experience managing or supervising people, including handling difficult conversations.
• Clear, confident communication skills, able to liaise effectively across departments.
• A proactive, problem‑solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor daily production activity to hit delivery and quality targets.
• Coordinate with procurement, stores and production teams to keep materials flowing and workflow smooth.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, reallocating resources to protect output.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives, setting clear expectations and giving regular feedback.
• Promote health and safety standards, running risk assessments and toolbox talks.
• Reporting daily and weekly production updates to senior management, flagging progress, risks and resource needs.
