Job description

DP World in the UK is at the heart of Britain’s trading future, providing the right trading infrastructure, smart logistical solutions and the benefits of freeport status to our customers.The Commercial Supply Chain team is growing and are looking for an Assistant Product Manager.

Hours: Mon – Fri (9am – 5.30pm)

How you will contribute:

  • Supporting the rollout of the Low Carbon Truck Programme (LCTP) and related services
  • Conducting market research and sensitivity analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Gathering customer feedback and helping shape product improvements
  • Assisting in the design, testing, and implementation of new supply chain products
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and post launch hypercare
  • Helping define operational parameters and improve customer experience
  • Learning and working with port systems like the (Vehicle Booking System)
  • Assisting with cost tracking, revenue reporting and monthly performance statistics
  • Contributing to solutions for operational challenges and continuous improvement

What you will bring:

  • Minimum GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 5/C or above)
  • A-levels or equivalent preferred; further education is a plus
  • A strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly
  • Good understanding of teamwork in dynamic, evolving environments
  • Strong organisational, planning and analytical skills
  • A good aptitude for learning IT systems and tools
  • Interest in sustainability, logistics and supply chain innovation

NOTE:All of our roles are subject to the below:

  • A full valid UK driving licence or appropriate international licence allowing you to drive on UK roads.

  • Due to manufacturing guidelines on equipment and site safety critical health and safety requirements, we have strict weight and medical requirements that need to be met and maintained. For our safety critical roles health and medical and fitness checks are performed. Requirements include, but are not limited to, weight, height, blood pressure and hearing.
  • We may close our roles early, depending on the number of applications received.
