Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Your role

  • Develop the latest design collections and foster strong partnerships between UK buying offices and NEXT design teams for seamless collaboration.
  • Oversee shopping trips, factory visits, and fabric sourcing to stay updated with current trends.
  • Make biannual visits to the UK Head Office to showcase key collections to buyers.
  • Motivate development teams to maintain top-tier service standards.
  • Introduce innovative ideas, wash projects, and printing techniques to UK teams.
  • Collaborate with NEXT designers to push trend-forward products.
  • Support the development process from design to production, ensuring the right product at the right price and lead time.

About you

Experience in buying or design?

Your ability to influence, persuade, and communicate effectively will be key in building relationships and driving success. We value proactive, adaptable, and resilient individuals who excel in fast-paced environments with strategic planning and design-led thinking.
