The Assistant Product Developer will support the Lead Product Developer and the wider team, working with cross-functional teams (including buying, procurement, kitchens/restaurants, food safety & technical, creative, and retail) to deliver innovative, commercially successful, and industry-leading luxury products and packaging.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. This includes managing project timelines, quality benchmarking, commercial strategy development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth execution of new product launches.

  • Assist in creating and managing project critical paths to ensure timely, successful launches.
  • Support quality benchmarking and provide insights to category teams.
  • Contribute to commercial strategy planning and early-stage costing with buying teams.
  • Lead product quality review forums and coordinate packaging sign-offs.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis through food fairs, trend reporting, and peer benchmarking.
  • Organise product samples for reviews, submissions, and photography.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams including Buying, Technical, Creative, Marketing, and more.
