Job summary

The David Ross Education Trust is seeking an Assistant Principal for Pastoral to provide strategic leadership for pastoral provision across the academy and ensure equitable access to the curriculum for all students. Working with the Senior Leadership Team, you will uphold the academy’s ethos and lead Heads of Year and the wider pastoral team to drive improvement aligned with the academy plan.

Job description

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Principal for Pastoral who will provide strategic leadership for pastoral provision across the academy, ensuring that all students have equitable access to the curriculum regardless of their starting points. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will promote and uphold the academy's ethos and values within the student community. They will also lead and support the Heads of Year and wider pastoral team, driving initiatives and activities that contribute to the successful delivery of the academy improvement plan and the achievement of the academy's overall aims and objectives., Our family of schools includes 24 primaries, 10 secondaries, an all-through school in London's Olympic Park, and a special school in Lincolnshire supporting pupils aged 2-19 with a broad range of special educational needs.
