Lift Bexleyheath is seeking an Assistant Principal to join the Senior Leadership Team. You will lead on behaviour and attendance, shape a positive and inclusive culture, and work with families and external partners to ensure every student thrives.
You will line manage teaching and support staff, driving school improvement and safeguarding across the campus. The role requires QTS with a degree-level qualification and a PGCE, plus a track record in middle/SLT leadership.
As an Assistant Principal and key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play an important role in shaping a positive, inclusive and aspirational culture where every child can thrive. Leading on behaviour and attendance, you will work with colleagues, students, families and the wider school community to ensure high expectations are consistently upheld, and every student is supported to achieve their best. You will provide confident and visible leadership, embedding effective pastoral systems and ensuring that behaviour and attendance are a shared priority across the school. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will see leadership as an opportunity to be of service to others, enabling colleagues to do their best work, removing barriers and helping the whole school community to thrive. You will also line manage a number of teaching and support colleagues,providing clear direction, developing their practice and creating opportunities for them to grow and succeed.
