A leading healthcare organization is seeking an Assistant Performance and Operations Manager for the Children's Emergency Department in Bristol. The role involves managing operational activities, overseeing performance metrics, and leading a team to enhance service effectiveness. Candidates should possess strong analytical and communication skills, along with relevant experience in healthcare management.
This role has been established within Paediatric Services at the Children's Hospital to work closely with the Performance & Operations Manager, General Manager, and Clinicians. The post-holder will manage operational activities, performance, data analysis, and staff within the Children's Emergency Department at UHBW NHS Trust.
The post-holder will oversee the performance of the Children’s Emergency Department, completing data analysis reports where required. They will contribute to delivering challenging performance targets through validation, effective communication, and liaison with Consultants, medical, nursing, and administrative staff across BRHC on a daily basis.
The post-holder will line manage the Reception Team Supervisor, providing training and support, including managing annual leave, sickness, appraisals, and ensuring sufficient cover.
