Job Description

A rare opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Pastry Chef to join our Executive Pastry Chef in leading the Pastry & Afternoon Tea Team.

What you will be doing:

  1. Ensuring the smooth operation of the Pastry Department, maintaining all areas to Fairmont St Andrews standards.
  2. Supervising and coordinating the training of pastry staff alongside the Executive Pastry Chef.
  3. Motivating staff to perform at their best.
  4. Cooking daily food items according to business requirements.
  5. Writing and checking standard recipes to ensure proper portion control, taste, and quality for approval by the Executive Chef.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role is essential; experience in a five-star hotel is preferred.
  • Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
