A rare opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Pastry Chef to join our team, working alongside the Executive Pastry Chef to help lead the Pastry & Afternoon Tea Team.
What you will be doing:
Ensure the smooth operation of the Pastry Department, maintaining all areas to Fairmont St Andrews standards.
Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in supervising and coordinating the training of pastry staff.
Motivate staff to perform at their best.
Prepare daily food offerings according to business needs.
Write and review standard recipes for all dishes to ensure proper portion control, consistency in taste and quality, subject to approval by the Executive Chef.
Qualifications:
Experience in a similar role is essential; experience in a five-star hotel is preferred.
Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
