Position: Assistant Nursery Chef/Cook

We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Assistant Nursery Chef/Cook responsible for preparing nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals and ensuring the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide balanced and nutritional meals for all children, catering to specific dietary needs.
2. Promote Storal Values related to Food and Hygiene, ensuring compliance with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Food Safety, Health & Safety guidelines, and Ofsted regulations.
3. Ensure the safety and stimulate the children's experiences.
4. Maintain stock levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
5. Follow COSHH guidelines and ensure safety procedures are adhered to.
6. Deputise for the Cook during absences, with the expectation of full-time deputising when required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Level 2 Food Hygiene certification.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and COSHH.
• Alignment with Storal values of responsibility, openness, and teamwork.

What We Offer:

Salary: From £10.47 to £10.62 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
