Job summary

Veolia ES (UK) Basildon is recruiting for a site role involving driving Telehandler and Shovel, leading a team of pickers, and meeting production targets. The role emphasizes safety, equipment operation, and liaison with suppliers at the Basildon site.

Candidates should hold Loading Shovel, 360 grab, and clamp truck licences, with basic IT knowledge. Desirable experience in recycling/waste management is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Driving and maintaining Telehandler and Shovel.
• Managing a team of pickers.
• Ensuring productivity targets set by the Business Manager are met.
• Unloading waste from vehicles, loading bales on vehicles and moving waste around the site, including feeding hoppers.
• Ensuring compliance with Health and safety, fleet and other relevant company policies and procedures.
• Being aware of Management principles.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers coming to site.
