Job summary

Veolia ES (UK) in Tonbridge is recruiting for a driver to join our waste collection and logistics team. The role is based in Tonbridge, Kent, with a 48-hour week and early start times (mostly 4am). Salary is £44,744.15 per annum plus Veolia benefits, with opportunities for training and progression.

Ideal candidates hold a Class 2 (Cat C) licence, up-to-date CPC, and a Digi/Tachograph card. Desirable experience in waste management and logistics. Pension, health and other benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) license is required.
• Up-to-date CPC is required.
• Digi / Tachograph Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving/emptying multiple commercial waste containers.
• Inputting all information into the onboard system and submitting paperwork daily.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with operator handbook.
• Complying with traffic laws and load weight regulations.

What you'll be doing ;

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads

What we're looking for ;

Essential:

• Class 2 (Cat C) license
• Up to date CPC
• Digi / Tachograph Card

Desirable:

• Experience in a similar industry; Waste Management & Logistics
