Role Summary:

An on-hand Merchandising Assistant to manage stock levels across multiple locations by raising purchase orders and tracking their deliveries, whilst maintaining an accurate PO Book to provide the rest of the business with the correct and most up-to-date information.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist in the expediting of Purchase orders
• Update order confirmations
• Confirm lead times, source alternatives, liaise with internal stakeholders
• Aid in weekly & monthly reports and collate performance analysis
• Develop close cooperation and relationships with internal stakeholders, project teams, and external suppliers
• Enhance the UK nationwide supply chain, focusing on key suppliers
• Engage in continuous dialogue with key suppliers
• Work closely with the Buying and Supply Chain Teams to implement new procedures and initiatives to increase business productivity
• Strive for continuous improvement and stay ahead of the competition

About You

• Previous Merchandising experience
• Experience with ERP systems
• Exceptional skills in managing a heavy workload and conflicting demands, while producing high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Experience liaising with colleagues from operational to senior director level
• First-class communication skills, personal confidence, and influencing ability
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Meticulous written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to organize own workload
• Prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
• Maintain accurate and timely records
• Identify and solve everyday job-based problems in coordination with the manager
