We are recruiting an Assistant Meeting and Events Operations Manager to join us at The Londoner Hotel.

Overview:

  • An exciting opportunity to join the Meeting and Events Operations team as an Assistant Manager. This is a 9-month fixed-term role for paternity cover.
  • You will be responsible for your events, coordinating the team to ensure all aspects are fulfilled.
  • You will verify that event spaces are set according to function sheets.
  • Pre-event and shift briefings will be conducted to discuss event details, special requests, and responsibilities.
  • You will ensure seamless service flow during events and meet guest needs.
  • Handling complaints and feedback confidently, rectifying issues where possible.
  • Ensure cash and card procedures are followed at the bar, with accurate cashing up.
  • You will support team development and performance management alongside the Meeting and Events Operations Manager.

About You:

  • Management experience in meetings and events operations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • A passion for food and beverage and providing impeccable service.
