Job Description

Prime Function:

  • Investigate and assess market conditions and competition to develop effective sales programs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • Update knowledge of special events, conventions, business meetings, and other opportunities that can promote sales at Novotel Hyderabad & Hyderabad International Convention Centre.
  • Design and implement sales strategies for assigned segments to increase sales and revenue.
  • Plan and initiate actions to secure new business.
  • Report any issues affecting ACCOR's interests to management.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Marketing Planning:

  • Assist in developing the Strategic Sales Plan for the segments.
  • Achieve objectives set in the organization’s strategic plan.

People Management:

  • Coordinate with all departments at Novotel Hyderabad & Hyderabad International Convention Centre to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maximize cooperation, productivity, and guest service.
  • Develop effective relationships across departments.
  • Respond promptly to queries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Train staff on safety protocols.
  • Keep personnel informed of department objectives and policies.
  • Motivate and develop the team to ensure smooth operations and promote teamwork.

Operational Management:

  • Identify potential sales prospects within targeted markets and prepare sales presentations.
  • Report regularly to the Director of Sales & Marketing on activities, prospects, forecasts, and customer feedback.
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales plans and market analyses, along with daily activity reports.
  • Contribute to increasing business volume.
  • Set annual sales goals, develop plans to achieve them, monitor progress, and take corrective actions as needed.
