Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a growing professional services business in Harrogate to recruit a newly qualified ACA/ACCA accountant or an experienced Accounts Senior ready to progress to an Assistant Manager role.

The role offers exposure to a varied portfolio across accounts, tax and advisory work, including reviewing complex statutory accounts, client meetings, and mentoring junior staff. A supportive environment with real progression opportunities is highlighted.

Qualifications

• Experience in practice accounting and client management.
• Includes mentoring junior team members and reviewing work.
• Strong communication and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT and tax returns.
• Attend client meetings and build relationships with business owners and directors.
• Mentor junior staff and support their development.
• Take ownership of workload and drive progress within the team.
