Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for the White Lion in the Vintage Inns collection. You will support the General Manager, lead a team, and ensure an excellent guest experience in a cosy rural pub setting with onsite accommodation.

You will mentor staff, drive guest satisfaction, and contribute to a welcoming, high-performing team environment within a supportive company culture.

Qualifications

• Hospitality management or team leadership experience preferred.
• Proven ability to train and inspire a team to deliver great guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations and act as Duty Manager when needed.
• Train and motivate staff to deliver high standards in food, drink and service.
• Mentor team members and guide development to improve performance.
• Lead the team to create wow moments that keep guests returning.

As Assistant Manager at the White Lion, you’ll bring your experience to the table, supporting the General Manager in leading your team to success. Through your passion and drive you will motivate your team to deliver excellent guest experience, mentoring each individual to be the best that they can be!
