Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking an Assistant Manager at the Hawes Inn, part of Vintage Inns, to support the General Manager in managing daily operations and leading the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will mentor staff, drive service excellence, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning. Onsite accommodation is included.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality as a manager or assistant manager.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations and act as Duty Manager when needed.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver food, drink and service to a high standard.
• Mentor and develop team members to reach their potential.
• Lead the team to WOW guests and encourage repeat visits.
