Powerleague Barnet is seeking an ambitious Assistant Manager to lead a fast-paced sports venue, drive daily operations, and develop a talented team as we roll out our new padel courts.

This full-time role offers £28,000 to £35,000 OTE, with a performance-based bonus, staff discounts, and a benefits program as you hit club targets, manage shifts, coach colleagues, ensure safety and cleanliness, and build community partnerships.

• Experience in team leadership within sport, leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Club Manager in delivering excellent daily operations and team performance.
• Drive sales, events and programs to hit club targets.
• Lead on shift management for a smooth, safe customer experience.
• Train, coach and motivate the team — part of the leadership pipeline.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and facility management.
• Build local community relationships and promote league growth and repeat business.
