Morio Lounge in England and Wales is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager to support the General Manager, oversee shifts, and motivate the team on a busy floor.

You’ll handle pre-shift briefings, cash management, guest issues, and ensure food safety and allergen standards, while helping recruit new starters and nurture career progression.

Qualifications

• People person who leads by example on the floor.
• Confident running a shift end-to-end, from briefs to cash handling and complaints.
• Natural host creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of shifts (opens/closes/weekends) and delegate to the team.
• Coach the team through honest feedback to create a great workplace.
• Understand rotas, stock, labour, KPIs and support the General Manager.
• Handle escalated customer complaints with good judgement and maintain standards.
• Support recruitment of new starters and onboarding on day one.
